I talk to the people doing the work. At SpotBook, the business owner bought the software, but sales agents, managers, and warehouse teams decided whether it was useful.
Keep Complexity Underneath
The user should see an obvious next step—not the concurrency, inventory reservations, state transitions, and deployment details required to make it safe.
Engineer at Depth
Pessimistic locking under concurrent load. Delta-based stock validation. Triple race-condition debugging. Modular monoliths with enforceable contracts. Built for production, not a tutorial.
Own What Ships
I work from user problem → design decision → implementation → production support. That includes the uncomfortable bits: incidents, edge cases, feedback, and iteration.
